  • They are clearly aiming for center of the Bell-Curve in making policy assurances. All four of these don’t address fundamental issues of education, judicial system, energy and transportation infrastructure or economics.And these still fall short of the Free-Color-TV promise and execution in TN.

  • SUVARNA KHATHA VS B KHATHA OF NEW PROPERTIES
    In Karnataka, BBMP has started issuing B Khatha to so called new Properties since the year 2009. This B Khatha is a new word coined by BBMP meaning ” PROPERTY WITHOUT KHATHA ” . That is, without issuing the Property owner a proper ( SUVARNA ) Khatha and the relevant KHATHA papers which is their legal right, BBMP wants to grab all the property tax dues as is due from a otherwise legalised Suvarna Khatha property owner. The reason suggested is there must be some deviation in building the construction from the approved Plan, and so ( pay the penalty once again ?? ) regular Khatha will be issued only after AKRAMA SAKRAMA — A MONEY ORIENTED Scheme. The concerned parties– Builders/land owners would have surely paid offical or unofficial penalty already at the time of exceeding the Building Plans promptly. The hidden intention is very clear.

    One has to remember that such new property is valid property for all the other Government agencies – Central as well as State eg:-
    — Sub Registrar for registration of sale deeds, Income Tax officer for Capital gains, and EMI/instalment rebate etc, Bankers for lending, Postal department for address, even to BBMP for the purpose of collection of all the Taxes and penalties, interest etc etc ( but not for regular Khatha ). How long should the helpless citizens bear this injustice ? Vishwanath
