    Galti se mistake…

Pranab Mukherjee has said something about Maoists winning elections in Nepal being awesome and spectacular and something to that effect. Which I really don’t have an opinion on. Best of luck to the Nepalis and hope there are not too many of them around the Chinese border the night the Red army invades.

Or so the many erudite commenters at Rediff think. Be that as it may I was quite enamoured by a gentleman who not only left a profound comment but also came back later to painstakingly point four spelling mistakes he had made in his brief but impactful statement. Haiku-like if you will.

At first I read “Who welcomes intervention occupation” and figured out it must be one of those profound Pink Floyd lyric type thing. And then I figured it out. Image for your enjoyment…

Someone give this guy a copy edit job somewhere. (Even though he did miss that H in Afghanistan.)

Ha ha…Its so difficult to get good genuine humor these days, Thank god for rediff, and its commentators. speaking of which , I liked your article posted in live mint about the Mumbaiyya lingo, Though I thought that the whole country was talking in the same jargon especially with the I.T./ BPO culture all over the place. I still remember those gory days where guys in Vizag used to have ” Institutes ” teaching ” American Accent ” of all darned things.

Gone are days where people used to hang on to those friday nights to see Prannoy roy speak on the ” the world this week “…

Btw, what is the answer to the question? Who welcomed China in Tibet, USSR in Afghanistan, Maoist in Nepal? Is it the USA? or Is it Bin Laden?

I love rudeness as form of humor. However, I made the mistake of commenting rudely to a female commentator. Here is what Anamika wrote to me on one of the rediff thing:

Dear friend,You know, you had criticised the whole gender ‘woman’which include your mother, sister, friend, teacher, the nurse who had washed you the day you were born and the doctor who must have treated you when as a child you were sick.Woman supports man to run a house, the society and the country. Imagine ,if there were no women in this world ,the world would have become a ‘gay world’, where men would get bored seeing men only.Dont forget we inspire men to live and only woman can give man the most prescious gift of love,a new life in the form of a baby.

I think rediff pays its commentors for such jewels…

After a tough day at work, nuthing is better than a shower, glass of juice and rediff board!

I sometimes wonder if people do that intentionally and think it’s cool or do they have messed up keyboards.

@Srikanth - I remember those institutes in Vizag. A friend went there a few years ago, he still thinks he is a rapper. Bless him

(Even though he did miss that H in Afghanistan.)…and the e in “welcome”, and left the c in “china” in lowercase. On second thought, maybe he shouldn’t get the job.
